SoundSource gathers macOS audio control into the menu bar. System output, input and sound effects settings are a click away, and each application can have its own volume, output device and effects. A built-in ten-band equalizer is joined by support for Audio Units plugins, and the effects apply either to a single app or across the system. Output groups can play to several devices at once, and the audio of a chosen app can be streamed on its own over AirPlay to hardware such as an Apple TV, HomePod or Sonos device. HDMI and DisplayPort outputs can also respond to the keyboard volume keys.
