Hold Fn key, speak, paste transcribed text. macOS menu bar app.
fnkey
Latest version:0.6.0
Release date:
A menu bar dictation tool for macOS. Hold the Fn key, speak, and the transcript is pasted at the cursor when you release, with no window switching. Transcription can run through Deepgram, Groq or Whisper, and the Rust implementation keeps it responsive. It suits people who would rather talk than type when writing comments or messages.
