Ente Auth is a free, open-source two-factor authentication app for macOS, iOS, Windows, Linux and Android. It generates time-based one-time codes for any service that supports TOTP, and can also import existing accounts from a QR code or a migration file so you do not have to set up every site from scratch. Codes are stored in an encrypted vault with end-to-end encrypted backup, so a lost device can be restored on a new one without exposing your secrets. The interface is deliberately plain, with a search field and clear grouping by service, which makes finding the right code quick when several accounts are in view. Because the project is open source, the encryption and backup behaviour can be inspected, and the paid tiers cover the paid photo storage in the wider Ente suite while the authenticator itself remains free.
