DataGrip is the JetBrains IDE for relational and NoSQL databases, running on Windows, macOS and Linux. It manages over fifty local and cloud databases, and can connect directly to your AWS, Google Cloud or Azure account to discover available instances. SQL support includes schema-aware code completion, error detection and quick-fixes across multiple SQL dialects, with your own formatting and code style rules. You can filter, sort and modify query results directly in interactive tables, analyse data with built-in no-code visualisations, navigate between related tables, and import and export data in multiple standard formats. A history log tracks every query run by you or your agents, so unwanted changes can be reverted and deleted files recovered through local history, and Git can be used to version and share SQL scripts. AI agents can be connected using your own API key, an existing subscription or JetBrains AI, and can choose from Junie, Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI or any ACP-compatible agent; agents only act when started, with permission settings, confirmation dialogs and a read-only mode, and an MCP server lets you decide which tools they see.
